Adobe now acquires Figma with $20 billion worth in cash and stock. Figma is cloud based interface design tool platform and popular among frontend designer and developer.

Due to Covid19, WFH ( Work From Home) culture is automatically adopted as new working experience and collaboration working mode became important part of the companies. This made Figma to double up users and make more profit.

In the meantime, Adobe’s stock share market price was down in Covid19 and most of designers come to collaboration platform to make next level workspace. But now Adobe acquire Figma with $20 Billion to expand Adobe’s rich features into Figma.

According to the Figma founder ‘ Dylan Field’, he will still serve as CEO in Figma and continue to lead the Figma team.

According to the Adobe and Figma announcement, Adobe’s photography, video, 3d, illustration and font features will come to Figma and Figma users can create interactive design for better experience.
