Nike, the biggest sportswear company in the World is investing in blockchain technology backed digital products in these years. Nike will open its own virtual sneaker store in upcoming Nov 18.
The users can buy/sell and trade Nike’s virtual sneaker in the virtual store and Nike provides its trading platform for their users.
According to Nike’s platform ‘ Swoosh‘, some virtual creation will unlock physical world, like access to IRL products and exclusive events. .SWOOSH is the community and opportunity to co-create the future of Nike built by Nike. The domain ‘ swoosh.nike’ is blockchain based decentralized domain and it is not the common top level domain we had ever seen like as .com,.net, .org, etc.
Currently, Nike only supports BitGo wallet to access its digital assets. Let’s see the next update from Nike on Nov 18.
