Meta now starts to remove some sensitive fields from Facebook profiles and it might be a good movement to reduce some conflict visions ( religious and political). The following fields will be removed from Facebook profiles.
- Religious
- Political View
- Address
- Dating Interest ( Male, Female, Others)
Meta said,
“Facebook is removing four profile fields—Interested In, Religious Views, Political Views, and Address—in an effort to make the platform simpler to use and navigate. We will notify those who have these fields filled out that they will be eliminated. However, this alteration won’t prevent people from sharing this information elsewhere on Facebook.”
This changes will also effect on ads targeting preference and those removed fields and related keywords can’t use as ads targeting options.
